PADI Divemaster Internship

Unlike a short Divemaster course, the internship format immerses you in the daily operations of a working PADI dive center. You'll train alongside experienced instructors while gaining real-world hands-on experience guiding dives, assisting with student training, and supporting all aspects of dive operations. What You'll Learn and Do

• Refine your personal diving skills (buoyancy, navigation, rescue, and more) to professional standards.
• Master dive planning, risk management, and problem-solving in real conditions.
• Learn to lead and supervise certified divers on fun dives and tours.
• Assist PADI Instructors with beginner and continuing education courses, including confined water and open water sessions.

Prerequisites

• Minimum age: 18 (Junior Divemaster available at 15 in some cases)
• PADI Advanced Open Water Diver (or equivalent)

• At least 40 logged dives (often 60 by completion)
• Current Emergency First Response (CPR/First Aid/AED/Oxygen Provider) training
• Medical clearance from a physician
