Your Final Step to Open Water Diver Certification
Dive into Real Adventure You’ve mastered the skills in the pool and completed your e-learning. Now it’s time to experience the freedom of open water. Over two exciting days, you’ll complete 4–5 dives at beautiful local sites—Haigh Quarry, Mermet Springs, and other locations—where you’ll apply everything you’ve learned in real-world conditions.
Your final dive is student-planned, giving you the chance to lead and create your own underwater adventure. Between skills practice, you’ll have time to simply enjoy the dive: gliding past fish, exploring the sights, and celebrating the moment you become a certified Open Water Diver.

Welcome to the final and most rewarding phase of your PADI or SDI Open Water Diver certification!
This is where it all comes together. After completing your confined water dives and online e-learning, you’ll put your new skills into practice in actual open water conditions. Over two full days, you’ll complete a minimum of four to five dives, building confidence, refining techniques, and discovering the true joy of scuba diving.
Every dive is carefully designed to reinforce what you’ve already learned while giving you the freedom to explore. Your instructors will guide you through all required skills, and your very last dive will be one you help plan yourself—your first real opportunity to lead an underwater adventure.
Whether we’re diving the quarry walls of Haigh Quarry or the scenic, clear waters of Mermet Springs, we make sure you have plenty of time to relax, enjoy the marine life, and soak in the underwater world you’ve worked so hard to reach.
